Our goal is to help keep everyday fun. One of the ways that we believe we can make our everyday lives fun is to add a
little variety. So many people are not enjoying themselves because they view their lives as one big, endless cycle. They wake
up, get dressed go to work, come home, eat dinner, watch tv and go to bed only to do the same thing the next day. If this
is your life and you are happy, GREAT!!! This section is not for you. However, if you're looking for something a little bit
different, you've come to the right place.
Each month we try to give you something a little different. We give you a few recipes. Some are old favorites. Some may be
new. Some are relatively easy and others might be a little more complex or exotic. No matter what your tastes are, we're sure
you'll find something that you'll enjoy. (And isn't that the whole point?)
But, believe it or not, there's more to life than food. That's why we give you a monthly goal to tackle. It's usually something
around the house. Nothing major, but generally something that you may have been putting off until the proper time arrives.
Unfortunately, that time never seems to be now.
For some reason, women's lives tend to fall into more of a rut than men's. Whether it's working, coming home cooking dinner
and doing a little housework or staying home with the kids and doing the aforementioned list, there never seems to be enough
time for yourselves. That's why we've created a monthly ladies night. A time to just spend some time with friends and forget
about the cares of the world for a little while.
In the future we plan to add more items, such as a few datenight suggestions to go along with our topic on datenight.
We also hope to add a monthly movie review. If you are hoping for our input on the latest Hollywood offerings, we're afraid
you've come to the wrong place. We're looking at some classics, but we're also looking at a lot of offbeat movies you may
never have heard of before. We will, of course, be focusing on family movies. Many of them we have found in the bargain bins
of retail stores. For instance, how many have seen 'Kermit, the Swamp Years' or 'Pot o' Gold' starring Jimmy Stewart. We picked
each of these up for only $1.00 and they are very enjoyable. We've also looked at a few movies which cost a little more, but
nothing exorbitant.
We also plan on adding other items in this space, so be sure to stop back each month.
